The Route
Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi and travel to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive across the reserve's open plains.
Maasai Mara
A full day in the reserve, with morning and afternoon drives covering the riverine forest and the short-grass plains where the resident big cats are found.
Lake Nakuru
Travel north-east to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving for an afternoon game drive focused on the park's rhino population and its birdlife.
Lake Naivasha
A short morning drive to Lake Naivasha, with time for a walking safari through Hell's Gate National Park, one of the few Kenyan parks where wildlife can be approached on foot. The afternoon is free for an optional boat trip on the lake.
Amboseli
Travel south to Amboseli National Park, arriving in the afternoon for a first game drive among the park's elephant herds, with Kilimanjaro rising behind them on a clear day.
